Are these real-time numbers?
They are mathematical projections based on annual data. For example, if 134 million babies are born per year, the counter adds ~4.25 births per second. The source data comes from UN, WHO, and other organizations.
How accurate are the counters?
The annual base numbers are from authoritative sources (UN, WHO, IEA). The per-second rates are mathematical extrapolations — accurate in aggregate but not for any specific second.
How often is the data updated?
Base annual figures are updated when new official reports are published (typically annually). The real-time extrapolation runs continuously in your browser.
Is any data sent to a server?
No. All calculations happen in your browser using JavaScript. No personal data or statistics are transmitted anywhere.
Can I embed these counters on my website?
This feature is coming soon. Currently you can share individual statistics via the share button on each counter card.
Why do the numbers differ from Worldometers?
Different sources may use different base years or methodologies. We cite our specific source for each counter so you can verify the data.
