What frequency range is supported?
1 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The slider uses a logarithmic scale for precise control across the entire audible spectrum.
Can I play multiple tones at once?
Yes. Use the Multi tab to create up to 8 independent oscillators, each with its own frequency, waveform, and volume.
What is a frequency sweep?
A sweep gradually changes frequency from a start point to an end point. Use it to test speakers, find resonance frequencies, or check hearing range.
What are DTMF tones?
DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency) are the tones produced by phone keypads. Each key generates two simultaneous frequencies.
Is this cryptographically generated?
No. Tone generation uses the Web Audio API OscillatorNode, which produces mathematically precise waveforms — not random data.
