Online Bird Repeller

A free browser-based sound generator that produces bird deterrent tones in the 1–5 kHz frequency range — the band where birds hear best. Eight synthesized modes including predator cry patterns, distress call sequences, alarm bursts, and frequency sweeps, with automatic optimization for 5 common bird species. Works entirely in your browser with anti-habituation features — no installation or account needed.

How to Use the Bird Repeller

1
Choose a sound mode

Pick one of 8 modes: Predator Screech generates hawk-like tones, Distress Call simulates rapid alarm patterns, Chaos Mode randomly mixes all types, or Custom Tone lets you set exact frequency and waveform.

2
Select target species

Choose the bird type you want to deter — pigeons, crows, sparrows, seagulls, or starlings. The tool adjusts frequency ranges and recommends the most effective modes for that species.

3
Configure timing and volume

Set burst interval (3–60 seconds), optional auto-stop timer, and volume level. Enable "Randomize intervals" and "Auto-rotate sounds" so birds cannot predict the pattern.

4
Press Start and connect speakers

The tool plays deterrent sounds at set intervals. For outdoor use, connect external speakers and point them toward the area where birds gather.

How It Works

Birds hear best at 1–5 kHz. Ultrasonic devices (above 20 kHz) are ineffective because birds simply cannot hear them. This tool generates synthesized sounds in the 1–5 kHz range — predator cry patterns, distress signal sequences, and alarm tones designed to disturb birds in their most sensitive hearing band.

Tips for Best Results
  • Connect external speakers for wider coverage area
  • Change sound modes regularly to prevent habituation
  • Run at dawn when birds are most active
  • Combine with visual deterrents (reflective tape, decoys) for best effect
  • Use "Chaos Mode" for maximum unpredictability
Important Notice
  • Some sounds are loud — adjust volume before starting
  • Do not use near pet birds, poultry, or aviaries
  • All sounds are audible to humans
  • Be mindful of neighbors when using outdoors
