Which browsers support this tool?
Chrome, Edge, Opera, and Chromium-based browsers support the Battery Status API. Firefox removed support in version 52, and Safari has never implemented it.
Does this tool send my battery data to a server?
No. All battery information is read directly from your device using the browser Battery Status API. Nothing is uploaded or stored remotely.
Can this tool show battery health or capacity?
The Battery Status API provides level, charging state, and time estimates. True battery health (cycle count, design capacity) requires OS-level access and is not available through browsers.
Why does my time remaining show infinity?
Some devices report infinite time when on AC power without charging, or when the OS cannot estimate remaining time. This is a browser/OS limitation.
Does this work on iPhone?
No. Apple Safari does not support the Battery Status API on any platform (iOS, iPadOS, macOS). Use Chrome on Android or a Chromium browser on desktop.
How accurate is the discharge rate?
The rate is calculated from observed level changes during your session. Longer monitoring provides more accurate results. Note that browsers may round values for privacy.
