Frequently asked questions

Is this tool safe for my speakers?

High volume levels (above 100%) can potentially damage speakers, especially small ones. We recommend starting at low volume and gradually increasing. The tool displays warnings at dangerous levels.

Can I boost audio above 100% without distortion?

Moderate boost (up to 150-200%) usually sounds acceptable. Above 200%, clipping and distortion become noticeable. This is by design for this tool — it's meant to make things LOUD.

What audio formats are supported for export?

You can export in WAV, MP3, OGG, FLAC, AAC and M4A. WAV provides lossless quality, while MP3 and OGG offer smaller file sizes.

Why does the ultrasound preset sound quiet?

Ultrasound frequencies (above 15 kHz) are near or beyond human hearing range. You may feel pressure rather than hear a clear tone. Not all speakers can reproduce these frequencies.
