What is the difference between Crop, Fit, and Fill?
Crop cuts out a rectangular region and discards the rest. Fit scales the entire video to fit within a new aspect ratio, adding a background (black, blur, or color) to fill empty space. Fill zooms in so the video fills the entire frame, cropping the edges.
How do I convert a horizontal video to vertical?
Upload your video, select 9:16 aspect ratio, and choose Fit mode for the full video with blur/color background, or Crop/Fill mode to select which part of the frame to keep.
Is there quality loss when cropping?
Cropping requires re-encoding, which may introduce minimal quality difference. Use "High quality" (CRF 18) for visually lossless results. The original resolution is preserved within the cropped area.
What is circle crop?
Circle crop creates a circular video. With WebM format, the background is transparent. With MP4 format, a white background fills the area outside the circle since MP4 doesn't support transparency.
