Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a real IQ test?

This test uses scientifically validated question types (progressive matrices, spatial reasoning, digit span) and Item Response Theory scoring. While it provides a reliable estimate of cognitive ability, it is not a substitute for a professionally administered test like the WAIS-IV.

How accurate is this test?

The test uses adaptive difficulty and IRT scoring to maximize accuracy. The 95% confidence interval shown with your results indicates the precision of your score. For most test-takers, accuracy is within ±5-8 IQ points.

What does my IQ score mean?

IQ scores follow a normal distribution with a mean of 100 and standard deviation of 15. A score of 100 means average intelligence. About 68% of people score between 85 and 115, and about 95% score between 70 and 130.

Is this test culture-fair?

Yes. All questions use abstract visual patterns, shapes, and numbers — no language comprehension, vocabulary, or cultural knowledge is required. This design is inspired by the Cattell Culture Fair Intelligence Test.

How long does the test take?

The full test takes approximately 25-30 minutes to complete, with 45 questions across 6 sections. Short breaks are offered between sections.

Can I retake the test?

Yes, you can retake the test as many times as you like. Your results history is saved locally on your device. Note that practice effects may slightly inflate scores on repeated attempts.
