Frequently Asked Questions
Which browsers support voice control?
Chrome and Edge have the best Web Speech API support. Firefox and Safari have limited or no support for speech recognition. For best results, use Google Chrome.
Does it work on other websites?
This tool works within this page only. For system-wide voice control, consider dedicated software like Dragon NaturallySpeaking or built-in OS voice control features.
Is my voice recorded?
Voice processing uses the Web Speech API built into your browser. Audio may be sent to the browser vendor cloud service for recognition (e.g., Google for Chrome). We do not record, store, or access your voice data.
Can I customize the commands?
Currently the command set is fixed. The tool recognizes common navigation phrases. Future updates may allow custom command mapping.
Why does it sometimes not recognize my command?
Background noise, microphone quality, and accent can affect recognition. Speak clearly and at a normal pace. Ensure your microphone is working properly in browser settings.
