What is the maximum silence duration I can add?

You can add up to 3600 seconds (1 hour) of silence per insertion point. There is no limit on the number of insertion points, so you can add as much total silence as needed.

Does adding silence affect the original audio quality?

No. The tool only inserts silent gaps — the original audio remains completely untouched. The quality of your recording is preserved exactly as it was.
