What is audio looping?

Audio looping means repeating a sound file multiple times to create a longer version. Musicians use it for practice tracks, DJs for extended mixes, meditation creators for ambient soundscapes, and content creators for background audio.

What is crossfade and why should I use it?

Crossfade blends the end of one repeat into the beginning of the next, creating a smooth, seamless transition. Without crossfade, you may hear a click or abrupt cut where repeats join. Crossfade is essential for music loops and ambient sounds.

Can I loop just a section of my audio?

Yes. Enable A/B loop and drag the markers on the waveform to select the exact section you want to repeat. Only that section will be looped — the rest of the file is ignored.

How do I make a 1-hour loop of a song?

Switch to "Target duration" mode and enter your desired duration (for example, 1 hour). The tool automatically calculates how many repeats are needed. Add crossfade for seamless transitions between repeats.

Is there a file size limit?

Processing happens in your browser using your device's RAM. Source files up to 2 GB are accepted. For very large outputs, the tool shows estimated size and warns if it may exceed available memory.

What is reverse alternation?

Reverse alternation plays every other repeat backwards: forward, backward, forward, backward, and so on. Combined with crossfade, it produces a smooth palindrome-like loop — popular in ambient and experimental music production.
