FAQ

Which mouse buttons does this test?

All five standard buttons: left click (button 0), right click (button 2), middle/scroll click (button 1), back/side button (button 3), and forward/side button (button 4).

How does the double-click speed test work?

The tool measures the time in milliseconds between two consecutive left clicks. A typical double-click speed is 100-500 ms. If it exceeds 500 ms, most operating systems won't register it as a double-click.

Can I test horizontal scrolling?

Yes. If your mouse supports horizontal scroll (tilt wheel or dedicated horizontal wheel), the test will detect left and right scroll events separately.

Why doesn't my back/forward button work?

Some browsers block mouse buttons 3 and 4 by default. Try using Chrome or Edge. Also, some mice remap side buttons to keyboard shortcuts — check your mouse software settings.

Does this work with touchpad?

Partially. Touchpads support left click, right click, and scroll. Middle click and side buttons depend on your touchpad driver and gesture settings.

Is my mouse data sent to a server?

No. All testing happens entirely in your browser. No mouse data, click patterns, or results are sent anywhere.
