How to Play
Choose a category and tap a silhouette from the thumbnail grid, or play the daily puzzle.
Drag each of the seven pieces into place. Pieces snap automatically when close to a correct slot.
Press R (or double-click) to rotate by 45°. Press F to flip the parallelogram. Only the parallelogram has a mirror image.
Tap the hint button to reveal one piece; tap again for two; a third time to show every remaining piece until placed.
Solve without hints and under the target time for three stars. Your best star count and time are saved per puzzle.

What is a tangram?
Tangram is a classic geometric puzzle that originated in China. A square is cut into seven pieces — two large triangles, one medium triangle, two small triangles, one square, and one parallelogram — and arranged into different silhouettes.
How do I rotate or flip a piece?
Select a piece and press R to rotate by 45° (Shift+R for counter-clockwise). Press F to flip the parallelogram horizontally — the parallelogram is the only piece that looks different after a flip.
What is the daily puzzle?
The daily puzzle is a single silhouette picked deterministically from the puzzle library using the current UTC date. Every player sees the same puzzle on the same day, so results are directly comparable.
Can I create my own tangram puzzles?
Yes. Switch to the Designer mode, arrange the seven pieces into any shape, and press Share to copy a link. Anyone opening that link will see your silhouette and try to rebuild it.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After the first visit, the game is cached by the Timbrica service worker and loads without an internet connection. Progress, best times, and star ratings are stored in the browser.
Is this suitable for kids?
Tangram is commonly used in schools to teach geometry, spatial reasoning, and problem solving. The three-level hint system keeps young players moving forward without frustration.
