Identify an O-Ring Size

A free tool for identifying an O-ring or sealing ring. Drop the O-ring over a calibrated set of circles and lay it across a cross-section scale on screen, or print a 1:1 paper sizer, and read its inner diameter, cross-section and standard size family — no caliper needed.

How to size an O-ring

1
Pick a mode

Choose "Measure on screen" for calibrated rulers, or "Print a gauge" to download a paper sizer.

2
Calibrate or print at 100%

On screen, match the blue rectangle to a bank card. On paper, print at Actual size and check the 50 mm bar.

3
Measure ID and cross-section

Measure the hole across its centre for the inner diameter, then lay the ring across the scale for the cross-section.
