Free Online Tarot Reading — Rider-Waite-Smith Deck

Free online tarot reading with the classic Rider-Waite-Smith deck (1909, public domain). Six spreads: daily card, yes/no, past-present-future, love (5), career (5), and the full Celtic Cross (10). Each of the 78 cards has upright and reversed interpretations based on A.E. Waite's "Pictorial Key to the Tarot" (1910), adapted to modern language. Daily card deterministic by date, voice reading via Web Speech API, journal of the last 30 readings stored locally.

How to read

1
Pick a spread

From the simplest (daily card) to the deepest (Celtic Cross). Each spread answers a different kind of question.

2
Frame the question

Open-ended works best: "What should I know about...", "How can I develop...", "What blocks...". Avoid yes/no except in that spread.

3
Reveal the cards

Hit "Shuffle and draw". Cards flip with stagger. Tap a card to flip it again for meditation.

📚 About the deck structure

Major Arcana (22 cards). The Fool's journey from 0 to 21 — major archetypes and turning points. When a Major Arcanum lands, the topic is significant.
Minor Arcana (56 cards). 4 suits × 14 cards: Wands (fire, action), Cups (water, feelings), Swords (air, thought), Pentacles (earth, matter). Ace–Ten + court cards (Page, Knight, Queen, King).
Reversed cards. A card upside down — weakened, blocked, or hidden expression. Sometimes an internal process not yet visible. Not always negative.
