Joy-Con Drift & Controller Test Online
Free in-browser diagnostic for the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con and Pro Controller. Measures resting stick offset to 0.1% precision, shows live button states, and reads accelerometer and gyroscope. Connects via Web HID over USB or Bluetooth — no driver, no app, no download.
How to use
Hold the small sync button on the Joy-Con rail to enable pairing, then add it from your computer's Bluetooth settings. USB-C also works for the Pro Controller.
Web HID is supported only in Chromium-based desktop browsers. Safari, Firefox and the Switch's built-in browser cannot read controllers.
A device picker will appear. Pick your Joy-Con (L), Joy-Con (R), or Pro Controller. The tool will switch to live diagnostic mode.
Place the controller on a flat surface, release the stick fully, and click Start. After 3 seconds you will see a verdict and per-stick percentages.

Stick Drift Test
Drift test
Place the controller on a flat surface and release the stick fully. Click Start, then keep your hands off for 3 seconds.
Buttons
Press any button on the controller. Pressed buttons light up green.
HD Rumble Test
Sends an HD-rumble pattern via output report 0x10. Amplitude is interpolated from an 11-step lookup table at ~320 Hz HF / 160 Hz LF — close enough to feel proportional. Auto-stops after the duration. Test left, right, or both motors independently.
Motion Sensors
Tilt or rotate the controller to see real-time motion data.
