FAQ
What is a DNS lookup?
A DNS lookup queries the Domain Name System to find records associated with a domain, such as IP addresses (A records), mail servers (MX), or nameservers (NS).
Is this tool private?
Yes. All queries are sent directly from your browser to the selected DNS resolver via encrypted HTTPS. We never see your queries.
What is DNS-over-HTTPS?
DoH sends DNS queries over encrypted HTTPS instead of plain-text UDP. This prevents eavesdropping and makes DNS lookups more private.
Why do different resolvers return different results?
Each resolver has its own cache and may have received updates at different times. This is normal during DNS propagation.
What does DNSSEC validated mean?
DNSSEC adds cryptographic signatures to DNS records. A validated response proves the data hasn't been tampered with.
