Watermark Your Photos in the Browser

Content Credentials (C2PA) is the open authenticity standard backed by Adobe, Microsoft, Sony cameras and many newsrooms. When enabled, a cryptographically signed manifest is embedded inside the JPEG, PNG or WebP with the signing time and an optional author name. Anyone with a C2PA-aware viewer (Photoshop, Adobe Bridge, verify.contentauthenticity.org) can verify it. It does not legally prove authorship, but it makes the file traceable to a specific signing time — far stronger than a visible watermark alone, which can be cropped away.

Yes, when "Preserve EXIF metadata" is on (default). Camera make, model, lens info, date taken, copyright tags and the ICC color profile are all preserved through the re-encode for JPEG output. PNG and WebP have different metadata models, so a subset is kept where the format supports it.

Yes — toggle "Strip GPS location" and only the geo-tags are removed, the rest of the EXIF stays. "Remove all metadata" wipes EXIF, IPTC and the color profile for the most compact, traceless output.

There is no fixed limit — processing runs in your browser, sequentially to keep memory steady. We show a friendly warning once you cross 50 photos at once, but hundreds work fine on a modern laptop or phone.

A corner watermark is easy to crop out. A diagonal tile repeats the mark across the whole photo at an angle, so anyone trying to reuse the image has to crop the entire usable area. This is what stock agencies, photographers and news outlets use for preview-grade images.

After the first visit, yes. The page is cached as a Progressive Web App; everything you need to watermark photos works without a network connection. Content Credentials needs to load its library once online, then is cached too.
